Jackson is a seasoned veteran of the Sonic Rue team. Having been with the company for over five years, he has built a reputation as a true couples' favorite who brings extensive experience to every event. Jackson’s deep love for music extends far beyond the DJ booth; as a talented bass player who actively performs in a live band, he brings a true musician’s ear to his mixing. Playing the saxophone since age 10 and holding a degree in Jazz Studies from the prestigious Purchase Conservatory, John is a highly respected performer and educator in both the Buffalo and New York City music scenes.

Dr. Joel Hunt brings a masterclass in musical entertainment to every wedding he DJs. Currently teaching music at both Penn State and RIT, Joel’s deep expertise spans jazz, pop, and electronic music production, giving him an unparalleled ear for reading a room and seamlessly mixing tracks that keep the dance floor packed.
